Here’s a little more about me.
I am a proud Jewish, Israeli-born and raised, and passionate vegan. Life is an incredible journey, and mine is shared with my amazing husband, Maor, and our beautiful family of six—four fur babies and two human toddlers — who bring endless love and joy into our lives.
In my free time, you’ll likely find me:
Watching Wicked (both the musical and the movie).
Listening to music.
Playing with my kids and fur babies, who always keep me on my toes.
Exploring amazing vegan food - I plan all my trips around where I can eat the best plant-based dishes!
I’m also deeply involved in the diabetic dog community. After my youngest pup, Hicks, was diagnosed with diabetes, I immersed myself in learning everything about canine diabetes. That led me to become an admin for a diabetic dog group, where I help others navigate the journey of caring for their pups.
Above all, I love teaching. It was my guiding light through the challenges of my Ph.D. and M.A. years. Graduate school is tough - no matter how brilliant you are - but finding joy in the journey makes all the difference. For me, that joy has always come from teaching, and my friends and family.
